Reuben and Tobias - you guys have managed to hit the nail on the head in terms of a well serviced campsite - we so appreciated the way you were great hosts but never intrusive. Petervale really is a very special little farm and Caleb (4 1/2) was in his element. And we loved our site- thank you! We're sure to be back. This is hands down the best campsite we’ve been to so far and could’ve happily stayed longer than the 11 nights we were there. Well we definitely found the place and what an awesome couple of days we had. I found the shaded campsites perfect, the dam warm to swim in and all i can say about the owners Reuben and Tobias - you guys are legends in my eyes for your hospitality and always willing to help. The animals are a bonus and the farm dogs the friendliest i have come across.. will be back there soon and with friends this time.. thanks again.. Anyone looking for a real break away will enjoy the natural setting, and the peace that the farm has to offer. We loved the camping sites in the forest and off course the walk to the waterfall was well worth the effort. Wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely return to try once again to catch those wily fish in the dam! Well done and keep your treasure as natural as it is. And off course the apple juice is heavenly! Our recent stay with our four kids were absolutely fantastic! A real paradise, the kids were so excited to work and play with the animals, the dam is clean and warm, the owner is friendly and helpful. We felt so at home. We miss it already. Will definatly be back asap. Well done Rueban. Suggestion. Why not put a feeding bin at each campsite for leftovers for those darling little piggies, or compost. What an amazing place, including shady campsites, decent ablutions, a wonderful clean huge lake to swim in, hike to a waterfall, lots of fun farm animals and super-friendly and helpful owners. This place comes highly recommended and I'll definitely be back for a visit in the very near future. Well done Petervale!
