Our Farmyard Activities

Children will love spending time with and feeding our variety of farm animals, which give the farm an authentic ‘farmyard’ feel.

Experience milking a cow daily

Our scenic dams are ideal for swimming, black bass fishing and boating.  A canoe and boat are available for paddling on the dam.

Bass Fishing

We do have black bass in our dam and do allow guests to catch and release.

The mountain range behind the campsite is ideal for short hikes. A scenic 40 to 45 minute trail up the mountain range leads one to a beautiful waterfall, with a deep rock pool below, fittingly named ‘God’s bathtub’.

There is an abundance of wildlife on Petervale, including buck, many birds and black bass in the dam. There are also many good bird watching opportunities.

Mountain biking

The terrain is also ideal for mountain biking, so if this is your thrill, be sure to bring your bike!
