Stunning Camping in the Ceres Valley

Petervale’s campsite is nestled in the forest and overlooks a big beautiful dam! Get away from the stress and rush of city life, relax, unwind and recharge and take in the beautiful views of the farm and the Ceres valley. Our campsite is equipped with toilets, hot water showers, and fresh spring drinking water. Come and camp with your own tent. We also offer the experience of living in a Tipi. We have got good cell phone reception all over our farm. Please note that we are not pet friendly.

Camping Rates 2025:

R190 per Adult (12 years and older) per night
R140 per Child (2 – 11 years) per night
Children under 2 years are free of charge

Note: All farm and farmyard activities are included in this price.

Optional:

Hire one or two of our farm Tipis for only R460 per Tipi per night (6 mattresses included) in addition to camping rates. Each Tipi can comfortably sleep 6 persons. We also do not mind if tents are pitched next to the Tipis. Please note that bedding is not included. Tipis not available in winter (from the 1st of May until the 31st of September)
Hire a Kol Kol wood fired hot tub at your campsite @ R700 per night -minimum two nights or minimum three nights on long weekends. Only available to bookings of less than 8 persons. One crate of wood included. Not available to group bookings.

WE DO NOT ALLOW THE PLAYING OF ANY MUSIC AT OUR CAMPSITE. This includes music played from a cell phone or any other electronic device. No noise from any electronic devices whatsoever.
WE ARE A FAMILY FRIENDLY DESTINATION AND WILL NOT PUT UP WITH PEOPLE WANTING TO PARTY AT OUR CAMPSITE. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE RULES WILL RESULT IS GUESTS BEING ASKED TO LEAVE.
There is no power at our campsites. We do however have power at our washing up area with a freezer for the use of our guests.
If you are the kind of person who needs your microwave and tv while camping then we suggest that you do not book with us.
By paying a 50% deposit to secure your booking you agree to our terms, conditions and indemnity.
Balance due 8 days before arrival. All bookings must be paid in full 8 days before the arrival date.
Minimum booking of 2 nights policy on weekends.
Minimum booking of 3 nights policy on long weekends.
Minimum booking of 4 nights policy over Easter weekend and if the Friday or the Monday is a special school holiday.
Cancellations made before 14 days of the arrival date will result in a cancellation fee of 20% of the quoted amount.
There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations made within 14 days of the date of arrival.

You are required to pay for the amount of people you book for.
Please note that you need permission from us to add any extra persons to your booking. It is not ok to simply announce to us that you will have extra persons joining you.
Bookings will only be shifted to alternative dates if we are able to find a replacement booking.
Shifted bookings are only valid for three months.
Early departures are non- refundable.
Arrival time from midday unless otherwise agreed.
Check out time is 11am unless otherwise agreed.
Sunday Check out time is 4:00pm provided there are no other guests arriving in which case it is 11am.
No day visitors allowed unless otherwise agreed.
No power at individual campsites.
Freezer and power points at our washing up area for the use of our guests.
We are only 5km from Hamlet where one can get all the basics. We are also only about 12km from Ceres where there is a well stocked Pick n Pay and Spar.
No extension leads will be allowed to be run to campsites from our washing up area.
No pets allowed.

Guests and their visitors enter and use these premises at their own risk.
